Gail Cleveland Prints
GAIL CLEVELAND had an early introduction to the world of art when as a young child she accompanied her mother, artist Wini Smart, to museums, galleries, and on painting excursions.
Living in Maine, summers, and Florida, winters constantly inspires; being able to paint outdoors year round is a must for this artist. In addition to her formal art training, this third-generation artist has been studying art and nature for over forty years. Her firsthand experiences are expressed in her award-winning watercolors, oils, acrylics, and limited edition prints, now included in numerous collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Selected paintings have been reproduced into limited edition prints. Many are done in the Lithograph method and are all signed and numbered in low editions, making them more valuable.
Our Giclée prints are now accepted as being the best print available, with a longer life. By using the best inks obtainable, and acid-free rag paper, they should be good for 75 years. No print or work on paper should be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time. We suggest using conservation UV glass for framing. The buyer should be careful of buying inkjet prints, as they are not true Giclées.
